Scotland to Brazil – all in a week’s work Posted by Phil Mulvaney March 23rd, 2016 Peter has been on his travels again! This time taking in Edinburgh and Rio de Janeiro. On a Monday in February Peter flew from East Midlands Airport up to Edinburgh, arriving safely after a 4 hour delay at EMA. After a takeaway and an early night Peter started in the morning on the customer’s Linn LP12, fitting a Linn Keel and one of the superb new Linn cartridges, the Krystal. All went well and after a satisfactory listening session there was enough time to go for a walk to get a breath of fresh Scottish air before returning in the evening, leaving behind one very happy customer. By Saturday of the same week Peter had packed his bags again and was off this time to a slightly warmer destination, Rio de Janeiro. This was to see a longstanding customer, who had actually been to visit us at our new premises a few weeks earlier. The job in hand was a complete rebuild of an LP12, which Peter managed to complete in a day. For once, instead of hurrying back to Leicester, Peter was able to take a well earned break to recharge his batteries and take in some of the exciting sights and sounds of Rio. We hope you enjoy the gallery of photos from both visits below. Edinburgh, Scotland Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Tweet Tweet Share Edinburgh LP12 Rio de Janeiro Travel Turntable
