…and no, we’re not referring to Peter! In fact, this is a quote from What Hi-Fi? magazine who have just reviewed the current Linn Klimax LP12 turntable and despite it’s venerable age, have given it a glowing review and endorsement as one of the finest turntables around.

But there’s yet more! Hi-Fi Choice magazine have also printed an article by Ed Selley to mark the coming 45th year of the Linn Sondek LP12. As mentioned in the article, Ed paid a visit to Peter, here at Cymbiosis, in order to have his review deck assembled and set up. We’re delighted that he found it informative and interesting to see what goes into maximising the musical performance of this iconic turntable. Hopefully he helps to demystify the mythology surrounding the LP12 and confirming that with careful attention to detail, the LP12 is capable of many years of musical enjoyment.
