Streets Of Glasgow* Posted by Phil Mulvaney November 6th, 2019 Two weeks after the visit to the streets of Salisbury, Peter was on his travels again with another set of Cymbiosis customers, this time to the Linn factory in Glasgow. Once again Peter and Alison had the pleasure of meeting a couple of the attendees for drinks the evening before at a local hotel. Everyone met up at the factory on the Monday morning to be met by the amazingly knowledgeable Gordon Inch, who was to be their host for the day and everyone got know each other over coffee before starting the tour. The morning was spent looking round Linn’s ultra-modern, state of the art factory, which left a lasting impression on everyone. As well as using the latest manufacturing methods, Linn are also very environmentally aware and explained how recycling plays an important part of the Linn ethos. After lunch in the Linn canteen, everyone was taken to the Linn House, which recreates a home environment in the Linn factory to allow them to demonstrate how their products can be used and enjoyed around the home. They were treated to an explanation and demonstration of Linn’s advanced Exakt and Katalyst technology as well as a demonstration of the ubiquitous Sondek LP12 turntable-based systems. Another fascinating and enjoyable day drew to a close with everyone expressing delight at having been Linn’s guests for the day. Cymbiosis wish to express their thanks to Gordon and all the Linn staff for a most enjoyable day. *Written and performed by Alastair Caplin There's a Klimax in there somewhere Ah, there it is!
